Critical Congress (n) Pub Quiz

Come and test your wits and know-how in the Critical Practice Pub Quiz: an evening of epistemological (and more ordinary) fun at the Morpeth Arms, Saturday 15th July. 6.30pm for 7pm start.

Teams will compete – or, perhaps, co-operate – on subjects as diverse as ‘Knowledge (General)’, ‘Stuff Happens’ and ‘Art & Design’. There will also be music, drinking, breaks in play, and, of course, prizes (not all of educational value).

Your responses to our (recherché) questions will contribute – with your permission - to the Critical Practice Brains Trust (i.e. our fund of ideas for future development).

Your hosts for the evening will be Mary Anne and Corrado. Please RSVP to either (or both) at maryannefrancis@hotmail.com; corradomorgana@blueyonder.co.uk. If you would like to propose a team, let us know, otherwise these will be drawn up on the night. We have the upstairs room booked so numbers are limited – first come, first served.

The Morpeth Arms is a few minutes walk from Chelsea College, further along Millbank towards Vauxhall Bridge. Nearest tubes are Pimlico and Vauxhall.

Don’t forget that you can give yourself a head start by writing up to 2 of the questions yourself; see ‘Critical Congress’ at www.criticalpraticechelsea.org.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting is convivial and festive - the Critical Practice picnic Monday 24th July in St James Park, London

meet near the cafe (eastern edge of the lake -or, Downing Street side) at 6.30 with food, drink and umbrella
