Anja and Manuela are currently working on different things during the counter-g8 activities at heiligendamm. anja is working with an activist group at camp rostock, doing direct actions, demos and blockades, and manuela is joining demos and blockades with a camera as well as editing and uploading various footage.

together they´re also doing interviews with people involved in the counter-g8 protests, which are going online by the day, at www.futurearchive.org

things have been going quite well after the escalation at saturdays demo, road blockades have been going on since wednesday and very successful, people have stayed overnight and at this moment are still fighting police to keep the roads blocked.

today is the last day of major counter g8 activities, and in some hours mr. bono will step on stage and sing it all to its bitter end. there is a "make bono history" campaign underway which should hopefully challenge some a kind of symbolic politics.

manuela is also editing footage and stills from protests and uploading them to http://kein.tv - you find some quite interesting videos on there, we are trying to make almost-live tv from the g8.

soon we will reflect on all our experiences in writing and present the results to cp. presentation and debate: 26th june, afternoon, at chelsea college.
