17 July meeting notes

17 July 2008, at Neil's lovely place.
Present: Neil, Trevor, Marsha, Michaela, Cinzia (minuting).
This being the last, objective of the meeting is to make final decisions about content and design of the publication.
We discuss Trevor's 'Well-being' text: is it develop enough to be included?
ACTION: Trevor will try and work on it a bit more, acknowleging its state of 'sketch' and we will decide in relation to space.
The text composed for the Vocabulaboratories publication will be included, as back cover or after the Brechtian Introduction. Marsha will forward a Words copy to Trevor.
We decide to slightly change some titles: 'The Market of Ideas' becomes 'Reflections on 'The Market of Ideas'. 'Traceability' becomes 'Notes on Association'. After some attempts at visualising it, we also decide not to include the editing history (from the wiki) of this last text.
The 'Budget Guidelines' need some corrections. The 'Big Ideas' should be edited down a little. We decide to add the link to the relevant wiki page at the end of each 'item'.
For the cover, we give up on the idea of a composite of images from Swarm TV, and commission Marsha to compile a spyrograph/mind map of the publication content. We also agree that the CP logo should appear on the cover.
We need some more images. Neil has some of the Market and will forward to Trevor. And Cinzia, of the picnic. Trevor might also grab some stills from Swarm TV.
The word count is not up to date, so we entrust Trevor to edit down texts, if needed.
Each author/editor will credit the texts they have mainly worked on as they feel comfortable.
Cinzia will sketch the Colophon.
Marsha will post a bibliography on the content page.
We also decide that all this should be done by 4pm the next day.
Then we take care of Trevor ...
