Review of the literature
Face-to-Face Meeting 1 with collaborators to discuss project methodology and development, establish strategies for creating the desired conditions in the environment
Correspond with collaborators by way of email to discuss project development
Refine central research question, if necessary, based on the outcomes of the review of the literature and Meeting 1
Consult with Ken Wilder about the logistics of producing the environment TBC
Produce statement of research methodology, including a definition of practice as it is understood in the context of this practice-based project
Consult with Critical Practice Research Cluster about how EPD will figure in the Parade Conference more generally

July-August 2009:
Continue developing context for the project, including the review of the literature and refine methodology
Develop the content and context of the environment and how in particular the conditions for facilitating non-verbal communication will be realized
